World Ostomy Day will be celebrated on Saturday October 5,1996. The theme will be "Cooperation-Key to Ostomy Rehabilitation". The Israel International Association, will, together with all the other members of the International Ostomy Association celebrate this day with meetings throughout the country. The aim of this day is to raise the public awareness to the meaning of living with a stoma and to the special needs of people with stomas.
Wide publicity will be carried out on this day in the radio, TV and cable TV.
